SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

How soon will my order reach me?

We try to ship products within 48 hours of placing the order. The time taken to deliver the products to you depends on the location of delivery. Typically, metro cities will receive the products within 3-5 days of shipping the product and non-metros will receive the product in 7- 10 days of shipping.

 

Do you have Shipping Charges?

We offer free shipping on all order above 1500.

For prepaid order below 1500, we charge nominal fee.

For CoD we charge a shipping fee, which won't be returned in case of order return or exchange.

How will I know if my order has been shipped?

You will receive a notification from us with the tracking details once the shipment has been booked.

You can track your order until it reaches you safely.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes we do! Write to us at krishna@storytailor.in This helps us get you the best shipping rates possible to

your location. Free shipping is not applicable to international orders.

How long does it take for my international order to reach me?

It typically reaches the destination in 10-15 days after shipping. Any customs related delay or costs are to be borne by the customer.

 

RETURNS, EXCHANGES & REFUNDS POLICY

We work very hard to curate only the very best products for you. We are happy to accept an exchange/return only if the product has a manufacturing defect or is damaged. 

Certain products have a no return/exchange policy (books, accessories, etc.).

Also, the products sold under Sale are not eligible for  return/exchange/refund.

How do I return/exchange a product in case of manufacturing defect or defective product or size mismatch?

Initiating a request:

1. Write to us at krishna@storytailor.in within 48 hours of receipt of the product along with photos and the reason for return/exchange. If it is later than this, write to us and let's work together to see what we can do.

2. We will approve the return/exchange request if it is a returnable/exchangeable product. We will provide detailed instructions by email regarding pick-up. This will involve minimal hassle to you, we promise.

Exchange:

1. In case of an exchange, the new product will be dispatched only after the receipt and validation of the returned original product.

2. Exchange: Once we receive the return shipment it will be inspected by our quality control team, and an email will be sent to you to acknowledge the receipt of the returned item.

3. The exchange product requested by you will be sent out to you.

4. Please note that exchange is allowed only once per order.

Return:

1. In case of a return, the refund will be processed only after the receipt and validation of the returned original product.

2. Your funds can be refunded to source. The source is defined as whichever payment method you chose while completing the transaction at StoryTailor website. Refund will reflect in the "source account" between 7 to 14 days from the date of approval of the return request.
